Marnia is a Philadelphia based actress born and raised in Mexico. With an interior design career while living in Mexico City and already a mother of 3 children, she started her acting journey and intense training throwing herself into the unknown with a fixed idea and much clarity of her purpose and new path. By following her passion, she is making sure everyone around her, peers, friends, colleagues and family know its never is too late nor too old to start and learn something new, to follow your dreams and do what sets your soul on fire.
Drawn by beauty, nature, art, and color, she studied in one of the best Design and Architecture Schools, CEDIM in Monterrey, NL Mexico with a degree in Interior Design, studied paint, art history, composition, different media techniques ,composition, balance and color psychology. Years later she joined the prestigious and well recognized Acting school in Mexico City, M & M Studio run by renowned actress Patricia Reyes Spíndola.
During the 2020 pandemic, her family was relocated to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. They moved under the scary unknown circumstances we all faced during the worldwide experience and certainly life changing challenging period.
No moving experience has been ever easy, not just as an individual nor less as a family who has moved several times through the years.
Actress, Artist, Mother and Wife are several roles with different responsibilities and needs to attend, fulfill and juggle with.
Moving between countries has been a very challenging, emotional and cultural quest, a colossal family and personal change. Acting on a contrary most common believe has never been an easy discipline, nor anyone is but acting in a foreign language was definitely one of many challenges to be faced upon to continue this willingly chosen path and new career. Eventually adapting became a second nature and one of Marnia's superpowers as much as her good sense of humor and enthusiastic optimism. A curious and creative mind along with resiliency, a strong will and determination contributed to build and keep going in this industry and this beautiful, demanding and jealous acting career in both equally important countries that has challenged, gave and fulfilled her life dearly and deeply, forging the woman she is and the artist who she has become.
With an empathetic nature , there’s a clearer understanding of human behavior and nature . By observing life and people through different glasses under different lights with other people’s perspectives , eventually you find out we are more much alike than we are different .
